Katie Bare

Katie is a licensed Massage Therapist certified in Neuromuscular Therapy and Therapeutic and Swedish massage through the Colorado Springs School of Massage.

She has been practicing since 2017, and although she is a young therapist, she has had exposure to manual therapy and physical therapy techniques from a young age. Having been raised with her father, a physical therapist of over 20 years, it has influenced her to be more keen to pain relieving techniques. She has apprenticed under and shadowed many Physical Therapists, where she has been trained in numerous physical therapy modalities, as well as craniosacral and visceral therapy techniques.

She specializes in deep tissue, therapeutic work, as well as gentle joint mobilizations. Katie has also studied biomechanics, where she expanded her knowledge on customized shoe orthotics and gait evaluation. Katie also enjoys working with athletes, as she has experience working with runners and football, soccer, and basketball athletes. Katie is a student at PPCC, studying to become a Physical Therapy Assistant with the end goal of attaining her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). She keeps herself busy with her active involvement in her church and love of the outdoors!

People say the effects of massage don’t last. But neither do the effects of bathing. I recommend you do both...often.
